Governance structure of NBMDB.

NBM Development Bank Ltd is a 100% owned subsidiary of National Bank of Malawi plc. It is a long term financing arm of National Bank of Malawi plc. It has a separate board and a separate management structure.

The main board is composed of 3 non-executive directors and 3 indepedent directors. The functions of Finance, Treasury, Internal Audit, Risk and Information Technology, Research, Human Resources, Administration, Compliance and Legal are outsourced to National Bank of Malawi plc structures.
